At Pear Dental, we recommend having a check-up every six months to keep your teeth and gums healthy. However, your dentist might suggest a different schedule based on your individual needs.

How often should I have a hygiene clean?

We typically recommend having a hygiene clean every six months, however your treating dentist or hygienist may recommend more frequent and/or more extensive hygiene cleaning if needed.

After your visit

At the end of your visit, we will provide you with any relevant take-away points such as hygiene plans or proposed treatment plans.

We’ll also be in touch to organise your next visit, and to keep you in touch with any offers that might be relevant.

Will I need x-rays?

We’ll only carry out x-rays if they’re deemed to be clinically necessary.
